I help stressed and distressed businesses navigate what are often complex and unique challenges, and get on a path to sustainable recovery.
No two turnarounds are alike, but invariably the leadership team is struggling to take the decisive action needed to restore calm. A good starting point is to focus on the decision-making process, and particularly the quality of input information and related analysis. Another tool is to try to identify clearly what ‘great’ would look like, and try to identify the major levers and bridges.

Value-creation is a key part of everything, and in 6 out of 7 situations I’ve led as chair or lead investor we’ve significantly (2x-13x) boosted valuation. And in all situations we’ve improved the quality of the product/service.
On a cumulative basis, the turnarounds I’ve led have added over £1 billion of shareholder value.
